Andy Ford, President of the FEA made the following announcement.
During the 2010 Legislative Session, when we were all focused on defeating SB 6, Sen. Dave Aronberg and Rep. Darren Soto quietly guided FEA’s “Bus Driver Notification” (SB 1058) bill through tangled agendas and over speed bumps to final passage. This was no easy feat since anything related to FEA was not very popular with Republican leaders!
On June 3, Gov. Crist signed the bill into law!
Please join me in thanking Sen. Aronberg and Rep. Soto and their staff for their dedication which ensured the passage of SB 1058.
